At Zephyr Designs Engineering & Strategy Consulting, my mission is to deliver technology-driven electrical engineering solutions of the highest quality while providing exceptional customer service. I strive to exceed my clients' expectations and build long-lasting relationships.
My Expertise
With 2 degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an MBA from the University of Southern California (USC), I have a 28+ year career in designing high-precision test equipment, waterfall & Agile project management, and strategic business development. However, I strongly believe that experience & expertise do not come from sitting behind a desk. Instead, it involves working side-by-side with a client or customer to understand their needs & goals.
My Process
I follow a systematic and comprehensive approach to ensure that projects accurately scoped and then are completed on time and within budget.
As a former Program Manager for major US heavy equipment manufacturing company and Product Owner at a Top-3 management consulting firm, I understand & embrace the value of structured plans, transparent schedules, and clear budgeting..
My process starts with building and understanding of the project requirements, stakeholders, and end-users. From initial planning to final implementation, I work proactively to keep my clients informed every step of the way.

High-Precision Test Equipment
Throughout my career, I have worked on multiple projects at the detailed design level from complex integrated circuit testers to high-resolution GPS systems. I have expertise in PCB design, layout, FPGAs, and microcontroller software.
Medical Devices
Over the last 5 years, I have been the lead engineer for a handheld medical device working with a physician with the goal of improving quality of care for rural populations. I have lead the design side, along with crafting the FDA approval documentation.
Program Management
I have deep experience working as a program manager for a heavy equipment manufacturer, leading development programs from concept to production launch and life-cycle maintenance across 2 production factories. In addition, I have led the development of innovative & critical vehicle system technologies, and worked with ISO/IEC standard development & compliance.
Agile Product Ownership
As an Agile product owner at a top-3 international management consulting firm, I have led multiple projects to deliver innovative software-based tools to 3rd party clients in both the private and government sector.

Based upon my experience working at a Fortune 100 company & consulting firm international management firm, I bring a strong sense of strategic business development for both private sector and public sector opportunities.

With a degree from MIT in System Design & Management, I can offer clients a more holistic view to better scope & plan their projects, from understanding the users & stakeholders to "connecting the dots" relative to system component interactions.
